Hope this is a blockbuster w/ the Dodgers. Olney seems to think that Puig is gonzo if this deal is done, does he come to the reds? Do we want this guy w/ the shitty attitude and crazy talent w/ boatloads of injuries? Or does he go to the 3rd team and the reds get a haul of prospects?

Latest report is 3rd team is the Rays and we will get a position prospect from Dodgers and pitcher from Rays. At least that's how I am reading it.

With some of the teams being thrown I wonder if this might play out for multiple players from not just the trading team but ours as well. This could get interesting. I am glued to this since last night.

Awfully quiet on the Bruce front today. Reds asking price seems to be 2 mid-tier prospects and not an elite one.

As the plot thickens elsewhere. Nothing but crickets here. The Yankees trade two relief pitchers ( one was ours) and get a new team full of top prospects in return. We trade three all stars ( Cueto, Frazier and Chapman) and maybe Bruce (4th) and our return is below average. We'll either get fleeced again or Bruce will remain with the Reds only to be fleeced again in the offseason. This combo of Bob and Walt is deadly.
