Marte suspended 80 games by MLB for juicing, shocking.. Yo-Yo pitching: maybe the O's can't hit slow pitch baseball? I remember Eric Davis getting K'd 5 times against Nolan Ryan/Asstrohs, next day he had "sore neck"- scratched mercifully by Pete, Suarez certainly not in this category, needs a better pillow? If Peraza keeps swinging at 60% of the incoming pitches might be time to drop him in the order- maybe flip flop Scooter and him if I'm making out the lineup card. Alcantara seems to be a bust, send his arse down and bring up a better anything than him.

Reminds me a bit of Greek but with a lot more power. Just a gritty player. Alacantra...dont know why he is still with the team. With Gennet being able to play every position besides catcher, why not bring up another bat?

Yo-yo gets through the first w/ ease and Perazza w/ a walk. Not sure which one's more surprising. Votto single, juiced, none out, cash in here reds!

Brad said Irrabarren is on AAA d.l. He will hopefully replace Alcantara when healthy. For now why not Renda? Adelman has been named to the rotation to replace Romano. He was sent down today and Lisalverto Bonilla has been called up who ever the hell he is..

Anyone remember when the Reds acquired Juan Guzman? Just remembered it. 1999 for stretch run. He was good for the Reds down the stretch. I remember being pissed they didn't resign him. I would have to look it up but I am pretty sure he never again pitched in majors after 99. Not sure why.

Anyone remember when the Reds acquired Juan Guzman? Just remembered it. Yeah, was from Toronto and threw smoke up there, lost a couple mphs. on the fastball w/ Cincy, but pitched really well for what, 1/2 a yr. or so? Good pitcher, really good, lots of product on that perm.

2-0 GOOD GUYS . PROBABLY NEED 7 OR MORE TO WIN. Gausman had to throw 26 pitches so that is a plus..

Yeah I was very excited to see Guzman join the Reds. I think he had arm trouble in spring training. Can't be sure of that. He was kinda jacked to be a pitcher back then.
