It was so frickin close dude. I checked in around 6PM, and we were tied 4-4, I think a Corey Seager HR is what pushed me over. I got you by 1R, 1HR, & 1RBI...so much closer than the 8-3 indicated. Came down the ending of the last 4pm game. Hell of a matchup!

Damn Brad I just realized it 5 minutes ago. My catcher Contreras of the Cubs just came up with bases loaded. If he would have hit a grand slam I would have had you! We would have been tied in Runs and HR and I would have taken the lead in RBI in OPS making a 5-4 score. Damn this is one competitive league isn't it?!

I had a 6-4 lead going into the night game. Johnny had Lester going. I needed a complete meltdown to hold on. In complete Lester fashion he does what he does. I lose 5-4 with Johnny having a 1.28 whip and me having a 1.29 whip. Congrats to you Johnny. Great week and season. Congrats to you to Brad. Rod, our dream Price Hill World Series matchup will have to wait till next year. Let's see who gets 3rd place and better slotting for the draft.

These matchups in this whole playoffs have been just wickedly competitive. No lead is ever safe! We all hate losing but gotta say this is a great league and you can't take anybody for granted. Another good year. Good luck boys! And oh yeah how is this for parity? Including the half season we started in 2011 we have the 6th different World Series Champ this year. Look forward to next year. And next year, if possible we ought to have a planned event at some time during the season. Be fun man! |

Hey Linz I noticed that Johnny made a move yesterday but when I tried to replace the injured Salazar on my roster it said the commissioner locked any transaction ability?

I posted in the league. Johnny and Brad are still in the playoff hunt. Eliminated teams no longer have access to the free agent list. Even though we're in a consolation bracket. Technically, we're out of the playoffs. We shouldn't be able to poach players. To me that seems fair. We can still move our roster around we just can't pickup free agents. Teams that don't make the playoffs are cutoff from FA. During the playoffs, once you get eliminated, no more FA pickups. Make sense.

Not sure if you guys see. Yahoo is offering a daily fantasy baseball game for free. Depending on how you finished in the league you'll compete in a certain bracket for money. During the season you might've noticed a gold, silver, bronze dot and cups next to your name. It's worth a shot for the fun of it. The invitation would've been sent in your email if you qualified.
