I started out the week missing a win from Hap because they had a noon game on a doubleheader and I didn't look at it til 12:30. My big K pitcher Archer has gotten torched in nearly every start and again vs Boston last night. And like you I started the week about 5 for 40 to start offensively! Needless to say I'm getting my ads kicked after a great week last week! Fuggin sucks! Depends on your viewpoint. From my standpoint, getting your ass kicked this week is a good thing as I'm fulfilling the role of ass kickee! It's a shame Keuchel & Scherzer's turds today completely offset Arrieta's outing. Yeah yeah I hear ya. Gloat in it while you can!  |

Jesus I'm glad I'm not playing Linz this week! I didn't pay attention to the scoreboard last week, a habit induced by having a pedestrian team, but an 11-1 beat down of Davis who started the week #1? Wowcifer!

Brad you're killin me even when I beat you! I dropped Blake Snell just to squeeze in an extra start against you Saturday and planned to pick him up Monday morning and you beat me to the punch. Damn, damn, damn! I know you covet pitching and have one of the best staffs in the league so it doesn't surprise it was you. Kid's got talent.

Brad you're killin me even when I beat you! I dropped Blake Snell just to squeeze in an extra start against you Saturday and planned to pick him up Monday morning and you beat me to the punch. Damn, damn, damn! I know you covet pitching and have one of the best staffs in the league so it doesn't surprise it was you. Kid's got talent. Ha...I picked up Kyle Davies on Sunday to get an extra start and try to pass you in Ks. He had a great start, but I still couldn't catch ya. |

Speaking of fantasy, I've always thought my team was better than my record is showing, so I took all of our stats, and calculated them as if the league was scored rotisserie style. In doing so, the one thing I noticed was that mine & Rod's team are significantly better than what our won/loss record indicates, and hopefully a surge will be in order to compensate. Flip side indicates The Gnarly Nine is outperforming reality, and could start to slide. Interesting analysis.  |

I don't know what to make of my team half the time. I've been struggling with guys going on the DL and underperforming. My numbers are pedestrian at best but I have the 3rd best record in the league. I'm in 5th overall. I'm hoping my guys can hit to the back of their card. Pitching hasn't been too bad.

The offense seems to come and go no matter how good you got it. It is absolutely unpredictable. Pitching is more stable and we did a very very smart thing with it by saves and holds to level the playing field. I had a 8-4 victory this week only to be outshined in my division by guys with 9-3 and 8-3 records. Fuck them guys! LOL! Our league is pretty damn awesome... |

I was pleased to tie #1 seed JohnnyRedleg 2 weeks ago even though I fucked it up by having 2 starters on the bench on the holiday Monday that would have gotten me a win. Then a decent win last week. But no matter. I can't seem to be able to find 10 games over .500 to save my life! Shit!
