We'll just have to let it sort itself out. Cross fingers 2 or 3 of them jump up and take command. Yesterday just magnified in 1 game how fragile the starting situation all round is. Reed I can't make an excuse for either but Stephenson sucked in AAA last year. Sucked in the bigs. And was said to be a head case by Deshields. After yesterday I send him down right now. 2 weeks not pitching or not there has never been a reason to think he will get it other than he throws hard and was a #1 draft pick. He looks like a complete bust to me and he doesn't need to be "Figuring it out" up here. My rant is because I plain don't like the kid at all. I'm biased. I think very little of him.

ESPN has a statement about KEVIN Mesoraco. Must be a new. Player that we don't know about. I wonder if next time they will have a injury report on Hamas Bailey??

Dude I was totally fuckin lovin life! Ate my sandwhich. Bought a 6 pack and went back and finished the job at dusk! If that ain't perfection in spring I don't know what is!  |

Helluva' start to the 17' season and some real excitement from our heroes in red and the wishbone C. I hate to get my hopes up, but I believe I can see light. The bullpen looks great and w/ so many young stud starters I think a couple/few will mature into quality starters. Rob/Steve included. I'm not down on him or Reed much at all unlike Rod. Yeah, they're having problems w/ their control, like 95% of young guys w/ big arms, but that can be cured. Yo-Yo's 84 mph FB's and junk? Not so much. If Ace Feldman can be a 4-4.5 era starter(moving to the #4/5 slot after one of the injured or kids get ready) and eat innings, this team's biggest question marks become a smiley face. Thank God baseball is back and these sadsacks don't suck the fun out of it, at least for a week!! 1st week champions my biotches! |
