A few more sets of rankings have came out
-Baseball America & ESPN both rank the Reds as having the 12th best minor league system in baseball
-ESPN Top 100 -#31 Robert Stephenson -#41 Jesse Winker -#54 Cody Reed -#86 Amir Garrett -Notably missing was Jose Peraza who has been on most Top 100 list. Here's what Keith Law said about our "prized" return for Frazier: "As for Peraza, a second baseman with no power and a .316 OBP is not someone who belongs on a top 100. The reports from the past year were worse than the year before, and now with two years gone from shortstop, the odds of him being able to return there seem quite slim"
Baseball America's Top 10 which has been revised after the offseason trades: #1. Robert Stephenson #2. Cody Reed #3. Amir Garrett #4. Jose Peraza #5. Tyler Stephenson #6. Jesse Winker #7. Alex Blandino #8. Nick Travieso #9. Rookie Davis #10. Keury Mella

Yeah if Peraza doesn't learn to take some walks and doesn't become a SS his value is worthless, unless somehow he manages to hit .320 every year. He is 21 though so....

Good stuff Brad. Admittedly when the club started contending back in 2010 I lost my hunger to follow prospects more closely for the obvious reasons. I don't know the system as thoroughly as I once did. Now that we are officially in the full midst of the rebuild and I do believe in many of the prospects I will indeed be following box scores at the minors a lot more closely this year.
BTW I like the format you switched to last year to use a game summary. It's more fluid. Are you going to make any changes this year? I have been working on some changes to the stats thread I do to make the presentation more eye friendly and have more information available for consumption by using the Excel format. Have you considered doing anything similar? Just curious.
