I'm going to take a stab at adding the minor league stats like Rod does with the Stats and Trends. He's an early season look with what going on with some of our key guys. I'm only allowed 3 attachments, so this will be over 2 posts. I have some ideas to expand this...Look for it in the next week or so. Anyway, here's the first look. Let me know of any feedback you may have, or anything else you'd like to see What's the story with this Josh Smith kid? He's been in the organization since 2010? On paper this season he looks great. If he's been in the system for over five years now, it couldn't hurt to call him up and put him in the pen, would it? Not like we have many options right now. Edit: Nevermind. Just saw his numbers last year in Cincy. 0-4 with a 6.89 ERA.

I think Smith is your classic AAAA player. He's a "stuff" pitcher and won't outclass you. He's got the stuff to take advantage of young, inexperienced players in the minors, but I'm not sure it will ever be good enough to consistently get guys out at the MLB level.

I did a little updating to my weekly stats posts, to give a feel on how the players did for the week. In Categories like ERA, Batting average, etc. I've added a weekly change column(green=good, red=bad) to indicate on how much the player has moved over the past week. In accumulating stats, like HR's, RBIs, Strike outs, etc; the weekly column is color coded ranking the players against each other. For example, the player in the week with the most RBIs will be a bright green, with the colors descending towards red to the player with the least RBIs for the week. Let me know what you guys think: Here's transactions, Louisville & Pensacola

Looks good Brad. As time goes by and you think about this more you'll end up reformatting things and adding things to where it just gets better and better. I'm always looking at something differently and learning something new. I'm wanting to add a few more stats like FIP etc.
