The game is going pretty much as I anticipated. Once again, this team wasn't prepared properly to play a game in the National Football League. Lewis is a terrible a head coach and should be fired immediately. But we have to keep the focus of our ire on the main problem: Mike Brown. Brown is responsible for keeping Lewis employed and thus all the problems that the team incurs. No one should be surprised by the score of the game. Business as usual in the Queen City.

I have a feeling this is gonna be a long season. Finishing last in the division is a real possibility. I don't know why Mike Brown likes to waste his money on player salaries by retaining a coach that never gets the most out the players. The whole coaching staff needs to go.

That was instantly anticlimactic. Today they looked like a team whose time has come and gone. New players appear to be just feed for the wood chipper of negativity surrounding this team. Home opener embarrass yourself like that? Wow!

I'm not panicing yet. It doesn't surprise me they lost. This team is young. And hopefully this game was a reality check. They just found out this wasn't practice.
The defense didn't play bad at all. They will be even better when Tez and Jones are back. I am a little disgusted that they would cut 3 vet OL men when you have guys that haven't played the position much. Ced was playing RT last year when he should have been playing LT. We have only 3 OTs on the roster. Ced, Fisher and Andre Smith is the only backup listed for both positions. That is just stupid! I think Ced will get better with a little time. I hope.
The offense has no identity. Looks to me like they play better with hurry up. Maybe that should be there identity. Also as usual they stick with the old. We didn't get much of a pass rush again. Where were the new guys? Lawson, Willis, Chris Smith? Not that it would have made much difference when your offense scores zero points. They played Hill they should have played Mixon more. yada yada. But its one game. We will see. Like I said. Not gonna panic yet.

Anybody else have therapy thoughts for this? They got handled in a way today I don't think any of us could have expected. LOst, Linz, 77, how you feelin out there? 1st play on O and D. Penalties. Another one of Marvin's stellar disciplined teams. O line play? What O line play. Nonexistent. When your best player is Boling. That's all you need to know. Dalton looks like a rookie again. Throwing in double coverage. Missing receivers. Here we go again. What's the identity of this team. Run or pass. Same question again. What do you guys think about the 3 RB by committee. Marvin's innovation shining through again. Defense got manhandled. You talk about taking a page from the old school. Run, run, run. The Ravens didn't have one single passing yard in the second half. They physically got beat up. It looked like a group of high schoolers out there. It starts at the top. Brown decided not to pay Whit. Huge mistake. Let your 1st rd pick in Zeitler leave. Head coach is horrendous. The two coordinators have no business being coordinators. Paul Alexander,How long has he been here. 30 years. All need to go period. They were not prepared at all. This is a home game. Getting shutout at home is sacrilegious. After that performance it's hard to get excited. I know it's one game but I don't see them getting into the playoffs.

Yeah Linz. I'm not panicking because I am too flat out disgusted with this team. Football Sundays have gotten not fun real fast. This team might be young in age of players but with a 15 year head coach and a veteran QB this shit should never happen. Yes sacrilege at home. What a fuckin joke. I'm glad the game is on Thursday because that's about all the attention span I got for these motherfuckers. Cincinnati sports sucks!!!!!

The team is growing a little long in the tooth at a few key positions. That's why they're not playing with any sense of purpose and the coaching staff doesn't even realize this.
This is a young team, so one would think they would play hungry, determined to show their peers how good they really are. But instead, I saw a team that played as if they have no real goals, no direction. A team that was ill prepared and played without a shred of enthusiasm. A coaching staff that implemented a very predictable and unimaginative game plan that blew up in their face. Hell, the Ravens defense knew the Bengals offense better than some Bengals. The Raven D literally sat on several of Dalton's passes leading to four picks total. It doesn't get much worse than that.
Dalton may have played horrible, but the 'goat of the game' has to be offensive coordinator Ken Zampese. Zampese's game plan was atrocious and that's putting it mildly. It was so bad it was actually embarrassing. Lets just hope the team does a one-eighty before this Thursday or this is gonna be one frustrating season. Starting anew with a different coaching staff and a rookie QB may be the path this team must travel to improve. Oh yeah, McCarron should've been inserted into the game when it became apparent that Dalton wasn't going to get the job done.

One more point. The Bengals o-line didn't play as bad as what's being reported. They actually played 'good enough' to get the win. Dalton had plenty of time to get rid of the ball or step up into the pocket to avoid the rush, but he chose to scramble right into the defenses arms. I included a video below that talk more about this and it's been one of my biggest complaints about Dalton's game. www.youtube.com/watch?v=73VGy3GQlWA

I went to a friend's house to watch as all I could get was shittsberg game. I told him before kickoff I don't see Bengals winning more than 6 this year. I think I gave them too much credit. We ended up saying screw this by 3rd quarter. I'm so sick of clappy Marvin. I hated it for aj green seems like a class act and a hell of a player. His career being wasted by the Marvin clown show. I'll watch Thur but chances of a win in primetime is next to none. Watson has taken over for Houston. Must win or any thought of playoffs are done. 0-3 at least to start if they don't win Thursday. Zero in a million of winning in lambeau week 3

You all get discouraged too easy. They might make a complete turn around this week. Stay positive. Geez its one game and everyones ready to call it a season. I admit they played piss poor but like I said 1 game doesn't dictate the whole season.
