Obviously went out for opening day. Had my first with my grandson. That was the lone highlight! 1 loss. Next. How'd that win on OD last year foreshadow the season?! Aaah gotcha! Don't start drawing season long conclusions every inning boys! The first batter hitting a HR against the Scottt Feldman might be a foreshadowing of the season to come I hate the off day after OD. Wait so long for season to start and then one game and a break

Might be a rainout or potentially looong rain delay tomorrow then Thursday is a day game and I believe untelevised. Was thinking of going but rain and cold in the forecast. Tough on a MF'er early on as a Reds fan!

I get why they signed Feldman, but he. is. trash. I miss me some Dan Straily.. D. Straily 4/5/17 3.2 IP-5 ER I think the comparison is a nothing burger. Coming in Straily had 6.75 and 5.40 ERA's in all of 68 innings the 2 years prior in the majors because in 2015 he had a 4.77 ERA in 122 innings in AAA. I think the jump from AL to NL was a drop in competitive class and he excelled in the NL. I think Feldman can do exactly the same and in his last 3 seasons before coming in had 3.74, 3.90,and 3.97 ERA's in 365 major league innings. I don't think either is a world beater but Feldman has the better pitching pedigree. I think that at least gives him the benefit of the doubt. For now. www.baseball-reference.com/players/s/straida01.shtmlwww.baseball-reference.com/players/f/feldmsc01.shtml
