Everything hinges on our pitching. That's both the agony and ecstasy of it. Expect a bumpy ride but hope the body of work outshines a rough start or starts here and there. And expect movement throughout the season within the rotation. Remember we should get back both Disco and Bailey. If all is going well with the kids that means Feldman and Arroyo could be bullpen bound or traded. If Garrett or Davis struggle expect Reed, Stephenson, or Romano to get their turns. But remember we don't need an allstar staff or a replay of 2012 to be competitive. We get a team ERA around 4.00 to 4.50 we are competitive. I expect the bullpen to be better even though questions exist. This is the fun part. To me the best thing is that we have 7 rookies starting on the team. It appears the days of lack of aggression and foresight are over. The time to get on with the business of sorting through talent and becoming a competitive team is upon us. I like the vision. I like the aggression. I feel good with Dick Williams at the helm. And no matter what happens the overall ride should end up a fun one or at the very least interesting. I expect to see progress from many of these payers this year and from the team overall.
Go Redlegs!

Castelini says his favorite opening day moment was when hank arohn hit his 60th homerun in the first inning.
Wow that's got to be some kind of a record or something. I am assuming that the Reds lost that game and burnt up the bullpen for the rest of the season.

Afternoon, ladies! Leadoff homerun. I imagine that's foreshadowing for how our season is gonna look.

Reds bullpen gave up more runs last year than the Cubs starting pitchers.
They will improve that this year

Hard to believe Feldman has been waived only three times in his career

63 pitches through 3. It will be a miracle if he goes 5.

Why the F is Feldman starting opening day? I know Bailey and Disco are hurt but we got better than this schmo.
