Just had to flip over to this absolute farcical comedy debate for president. I can't stand either of these assholes!! HAHA!! I've been doing the same. Don't care for Trump at all. And that's 1000% more more rainbows and unicorns than my opinion of Hillary. Pretty sure we're all fucked. I hear ya. For me all I care about is dealing with trade, immigration, and any other foreign policy. We're going broke saving these people while also losing jobs. This pie in the sky BS Dems are pulling is laughable but Trump every time he opens his mouth is laughable. Country is a mess and we have this comedy due. What i really think I'll never say to anybody on the internet bro! It's bad! LOL!

Right now I am getting about 50-100 chili peppers per week-jalapeno, habanero, poblano, serrano, Thai, super chilis, and the terror inspiring ghost pepper! I do my due diligence and put on the rubber gloves and cut open and deseed and devein them to take away from the heat. Then I salt and cook them down in some oil and just jar them up in mason jars. You get about 120 peppers per quart. Then on a 5 tomato to 2 pepper ratio, I roast tomatoes, red onion, and garlic and put it in a pot and use an emulsion blender, then add the chili mash then cilantro and lime and cook it for an hour. Then it becomes salsa and goes into mason jars, gets a lid and rin and a hot water bath then cools and goes on my basement shelf for at least a month! It was a light year and only got about 50 jars which is about 250 tomatoes worth. Took me about 10 years to get it right but it's the real deal. If you like hot AND flavorful I can send you some. Just give me an address and I'll bubble wrap it. It'll keep for up to a year! Can't do the hot stuff but I appreciate the hell out of it Rod. My arse just can't do it, lol. That's cool. I'm always sending stuff out and getting stuff back. Mostly horse racing networking so to drop something to a friend is no biggie!

The fact that Duvall has hit 30+HR's and 100 rbi's seems like a pretty damned good trade to me folks. I know he, like most HR derby competitors, has tanked in the second half but he's got quite a bit of value to me whether the reds decide to keep him or trade him. I know that .238'ish guys w/ low OPB aren't that highly valued in this new sabre era but production should still count for something. And no HR derby for him next yr. please. Seems like the week off does more for the folks that "get robbed" than the ones that deserve it etc..

You hope he can round out his game a little more. A few more hits and a few more walks and his overall batting line is respectable. But even if not VB we can afford to have a guy like him when we have other players who have different hitting talents. We just can't have a team of Duvalls and we have seen what that's like!

Anyway take care on the road tomorrow brother. Glad to catch a game with you in September. In one day it's like day and night here. It feels like fall, Reds kicked ass, seeing some progress, for baseball in the near future and at this moment all is right with the world! Later....!

Thanks Rod et. al. Can't agree more Rod. Seems like my nomadic job seems to always kick in around money time/end of the baseball season, which sucks, and I miss this a shitload. And even in bad/shitty seasons, bad baseball still fills my heart. And missing Sept. nearly every yr. kills my soul a bit every season, but I can't ever not watch and root for our reds. Shitty/good/etc., I can't quit 'em. As George C. Scott said in Patton:" God help me but I love it so..".

When that first chill hits the air and it's about to be gone you realize how big your passion for baseball and the home team is!

I still watch my fair share of games. Frustration has set in a few times but that was with management. Player wise I'm happy with some of the development I've been seeing. Starting pitching, some bullpen and the young position players. I've been keeping a close eye on some minor league guys ( thanks to Brad. You do a hell of a job with the minor section. It's a must read everyday. Thanks ) The future looks to be promising. Let's continue down that path and hope this batch of players is the right combo to make that World Series run.
