Hoover's grand slamitis had spread to everyone. That's disgusting. Scouting and coaching for pitchers need to be gone over with a fine-tooth comb immediately. Too much of this crap is going on. I could forgive it if it was primarily going on in the low minors. But its a complete organizational failure at all levels. Heads should roll. Even the low ceiling guys that are developing through the system should have an acceptable basic level of testicular fortitude. They have nothing though. These guys get their balls and asses handed to them on a far too regular basis. They are not pros. They are chumps. Wannabes. Pretenders.

Clay don't you remember that offseason chant about the Reds pitching depth? You gotta believe bro! HAHAHA!!! This front office is pulling so much promotional, sloganal(!), lip service, and straight up bullshit to cover their ass I've ever seen and still can't dress up how fucked up they really are. It's a priceless inept display in my opinion!

Even the more veteran pitchers have shit their pants as well. An extremely negative philosophy has warped the minds of our pitchers from top to bottom. They simply don't have a clue. All unraveled under the tutelage of a supposed pitching guru. My ass!

All unraveled under the tutelage of a supposed pitching guru. My ass! Man I'm convinced that there is no organizational philosophy in place for either offensive players or pitchers. You look at enough minor league players and how they perform when they get here you see a pattern for instance when you look at the Cards. They all get called up when they are hitting .300/.375. We call our guys up and they all hit .260/.330 when they are "On Fire"! Closing in on breaking a 122 year old record for terrible pitching ERA, it's just beyond any form of reason.

What are your thoughts Brad? BTW reading on the fantasy site today I saw a blurb about "Duvall being traded for 9 starts of Mike Leake". I got a tingle off of that for obvious reasons! And they cited Duvall's pace ffor being 40 HR + and 100 RBI+. I thought the kid was older and 1 dimensional looking at him from a pure stats point then. I saw him do good stuff in spring training then revert to the K banger then revert back again. Gotta say how can we not be pleased. Wow!
