What a fucking comeback. Wow, I’m still stunned. That was awesome. When Herarra came up I thought it was over but he managed to work a walk.

I left during the bottom of the 8th to run a couple of errands. Couldn't find the game on the FM dial and didn't feel like switching to AM. I figured they would show some late life but lose anyhow or it would somehow get worse. "Holy shit!" was my response when I got back home and saw the final score.
Hats off to Romano for not folding when they got to him early. And hats off to Riggleman as well for not burning his bullpen too early and often as well, as he has been prone to do. It's not a fix for a worn out bullpen, but it will help some.
Hats off to the offense arriving late and showing the Indians how to complete a comeback, too!
Come on... a sweep in Cleveland sounds damn good. I think they can do it. Hope they can anyhow.

Scooters batting average on balls in play is really high. no way it will stay tgat high. i really like Scooter. I doubt he hit .300 more like .280 by seadons end. which means he will probably hit .260 rest of season. since he landed funny on his shoulder about 2 weeks ago his power has left him. i would really look to d.l. him. That would be tough to do though. as he wants to play in the all star game and he deserves to.

OK... this shit is embarrassing. The Indians must be pissed off after last night's game. Mahle obviously didn't have it and now they are into a weak bullpen. To anyone thinking "yeah, sure, trade Iglesias now for a haul" or "Floro was a nothing move; he didn't bring anything to the table anyhow"... just remember that we didn't expect Wandy Peralta to struggle his ass down to AAA either. Our bullpen is relying more and more on two types: "not ready" and "never gonna be ready" for prime time. This shit is going to get Quackenbush back in our bullpen, showing that he's nothing more than an AAAA reliever. What's our alternative? Bailey and Finnegan to finish their minor league assignments, just to bring their horrid WHiPs to the festering shithole of the bullpen.

He was optioned down, and with the way he's been pitching, is going to stay down for a good while

I didn't think he was injured... just stunk up the place. Wasn't sure though.
We know that Bailey is coming back at some point... unless he strains his mangina, which is very possible. Quackenbush will probably get promoted soon, but they have to juggle the roster for him. And his AAA performance is an illusion.
Finnegan... same boat as Quackenbush, I do believe... except no illusion.
Hell, maybe they should call Finnegan up and tell him that he's going to take a long outing ass beating for the team, no matter how bad he gets hammered. If he doesn't like it, he can pull his head out of his ass and get himself right.
Anything has to be better than burning out your bullpen, especially with garbage games like tonight.

Management drives me freaking crazy. Bailey returns to start with rehab and back into the majors. Wtf is this about? If I never see Bailey pitch in a Reds uniform again it wouldn’t hurt my feelings one bit. Management fucked this team in April with guys like Pennington, Shackleford etc. Hell even Gallargo ( however you spell his name )was brought into the mix. I know there was injuries but still those guys don’t belong on a ML roster. Once Harvey is gone, it’s time to see what R. Stephenson is about. He’s either starter material or he’s bullpen material. The clock is ticking.
