The lines look pretty dismal for a winning series. The runs scored stands out. For a .229 hitting team this series and .259 RISP we made it count. We do get on base and we can bash some and we have scored 4 or more runs in 16 of the last 17 games. The pitching I thought was maybe turning the corner but the starters have only 2 quality starts in the last 10 games and the bullpen has been giving up runs regularly no doubt from wear and tear. All underlined by the fact we have an atrocious 7 errors and 10 unearned runs in the last 2 series. Our Reds get a big test before the break with 9 games on the road vs the Cubs, Indians, and Cardinals.
