Burrow just transferred from Ohio State to LSU when it became apparent the he would not become Ohio State's starting quarterback. I respect Urban Meyer a lot, but letting Burrow get away may prove to be a mistake. Ohio State's starter, Dwayne Haskins, is a great QB and may prove to be the better college/pro QB. But at this very moment, Burrow has more NFL potential then Haskins does and it may always be that way. No one can say for sure, but I do know that LSU got one heck of a QB.
Burrow stands at 6'3" and weighs 216 pounds and he's only going to get bigger and stronger. He's a dual threat QB capable of making big plays with his feet when everything breaks down, but his arm is very special. He has a bazooka that can easily make all the throws. His field vision is excellent, ball placement and accuracy are very good. Guys and gals, could Burrow be the answer to Andy Dalton in one to two years? All I know is that he's a very talented QB with all the physical and mental tools needed to become a great pro. I know it's a bit early to predict his future and whether or not the Bengals will/should wind up with him, but if he develops like I think he will, he could be the answer. Gonna have to wait awhile on this one.

I assume he will not be playing for a year. Is he a sophomore, Junior?

I assume he will not be playing for a year. Is he a sophomore, Junior? He has two years of eligibility left. I'm fairly sure he was red shirted as an OSU freshman.

77, I am not far from Athens at all 30 miles there abouts. I watched Burrow play once. We live fairly close to one another. Cool! I'm not a fan of Burrow because 'he's the local kid'. I'm a fan of Burrow's because of what he does on the field. His field vision, athleticism, accuracy, competitiveness, strength, size, etc., are second to none. If LSU surrounds him with some talent, he'll produce. Urban Meyer may rue the day Burrow got away. Watch how well he played as a senior in the championship game in the link below. By the way, my son Cameron who I lost nearly ten years ago, played against that Athens team in Athens, Ohio on the Ohio University Peden Stadium Field. Cameron actually had a good game against them considering he was in the second grade at the time and he was playing against third and fourth graders. He had several good runs, but he ripped off a nice twenty yarder against what was a great Athens D. If Cameron were still here today, he'd be playing DI baseball somewhere. I guarantee it. Natural athlete. Cam also threw a 67(?) yard TD pass (first pass ever; HB option) against a pee wee team in the playoffs that hadn't surrendered a TD all year until then. Cam also put three of our starters on the bench during one practice with various injuries right before this game. Cam played two ways. Linebacker on D and HB on offense. A one man destruction crew! Love and miss him a lot. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sp8rO5J9LtI

So what do you guys think of Burrow now after he toppled number eight Miami in his first collegiate start ever?
