I say get rid of the pure crap(Gosslin, Crackenbush, Pennington, Floro, etc). They've proven they suck for years now. Bring the kids up and let's see what we got. This team is pure garbage.

One scrub gome Quackenbush out. Sackelfod back though I am not sure it is that much of a improvement. Can't be much worse though.

Here's a problem: -Quackenbush: 9IP 11.00ERA...$545,000 -Gallardo: 2.1IP 30.86ERA...$750,000 -Pennington: .111 0HR 0RBI...$1.5M -Gosslin: .130 1HR 2RBI...$545,000 That's $3.34M of MLB money spent on guys that have been garbage for the past few years, and now 2 of which who have already sent packing. They were brought in on minor league contracts, and they should have remained that way. Also eating payroll: Griffey, JR: $3.593 Arroyo: $1.364 There's another 2 guys being paid just under $5M. That's over $8M being paid for nothing. You could have gotten a decent player for that money and given some of the kids on the job training. |
