I saw where only 2 players the Bengals interviewed at the senior bowl. Both WRs. James Washington who will be a 1st rd pick. He's shooting up draft boards. And Deshaun Hamilton. Interesting why they would show interest in a top WR. Does ML dislike John Ross that much? I know all about smoke screens, but most teams wouldn't bite on the Bengals selecting a WR in 1st. And its early in the process. Maybe preparing to trade back for extra picks? Washington is good no doubt. But we have bigger needs to fill in the 1st pick. This puzzles me. Maybe they feel he could fall to the 2nd who knows. Also, Brandon Lafell didn't show much and Tyler Boyd all but disappeared off the field.
Ok Andy needs more weapons no doubt. And I realize this could mean nothing just doing there homework. But unless they are more active in FA to fix the OL this would not be a smart route to go. ML obviously is unhappy with Ross and Boyd. Boyd and Lafell may be on the way out the door. And Ross has one more shot. Washington could be an insurance policy. Lets also not forget we could lose Eifert as well.
Aj Green had 9 games with no TDs in 2017. 2016 he didn't break 1000 yds. They still don't have a receiver to take the heat off him. Like I said we all know ML is not happy with Ross. Maybe we are weaker at receiver than we know?

Lost I've really reached a point where they have to win me over. I just don't believe the franchise will ever be anything great. As is right now I'm not just bummed out but flat out hate and despise this team. Last year in the spring I never unpacked any of my Bengals gear. Never wore it. I might not every get it out of that summer container again. That's where I'm at girl. It sucks.

77 if he falls that far they just might. or what if, someone like derwin james starts to slide, or one of the top 2 lbs, will they trade up? if 6 qbs or even 5 get picked ahead of them someone is going to slide. depends on how far. they have 11 picks. Jackson was here for a visit. They have been looking hard at 2nd tear QBs. This could be Daltons last shot.

Just saw a poll on"surprise picks" and they had a QB picked with the Bengals trading up or staying the same for a QB. I think it is a mistake. The OL at guard, center or tackle has to be the choice at 22.

The OL at guard, center or tackle has to be the choice at 22. I agree. But we all know their BPA philosophy. What we don't know is how they really view Dalton. He is set to make a lot of money. And if he has another typical season, they might be ready to let him go and they better be ready. Honestly I don't see them drafting a QB that high. I could see it in rd 3

If the Bengals do throw a curveball tonight, I think their target will be a QB and I think Lamar Jackson is at the top of their list. There's a few problems with the selection of Jackson if it does happen. One, he's not accurate and some teams were asking him to consider switching to WR. Not good. Personally, I think Jackson can make it in the NFL as a QB, but he does need to improve is accuracy. Two, if the Bengals do draft Jackson, they are essentially starting over. Building the team from the ground up. Three, Mike Brown will make such moves to fill seats regardless of whether it's the correct move.
So, do I think it will happen? No. Lewis has already been rehired on a two year deal and he's already shown that he's making the decisions concerning the roster which means Brown isn't as involved in this process as he once was. However, I could be wrong. Maybe Lewis does covet Jackson after all. Take either of my most recent drafts and replace the top pick with Jackson. Both drafts remain fairly strong other than one or two changes made to each. Another words, it can be done, but it's risky and it comes with no guarantees.
