Is happening. The Reds picked up their option on him for the 2018 season. Love or hate him, he's the guy next year.

He's suffered the down years so I think he deserves some up years which are right around the corner. But honestly don't make a QO to Cozart and trade Billy and there won't be any moves he can make that piss me off. Peraza and Winker are riding the pine plenty during this rebuild due to Price. That shouldn't be happening.

More of Hamilton leading off next year. More of Winker riding pine unless Schebler or Duvall is traded. And more fucking Sac bunts. Joy

Either they are not gonna do anything this offseason and they expect to suck again next year and compete in 2019. Which then the next manager will be hired to lead a competitive team. Or the front office will make a few moves this offseason and try to be competitve next year and see if Price can win with a better roster. I guess we will see during the offseason. I am betting they do next to nothing this offseason and won't try to compete next season. Price will be let go at end of season. I hope I am wrong and they trade a OFer and try to compete because in spite of Price and his fast guy must lead off and we must sac bunt with 2 runners on a 0 outs ignorant managing. I think with a Ofer traded for a pitcher and add another Lefty for the pen this team can at least be in wild card race next year. We are way overdue for a year with healthy pitching staff. Price pisses me off because either he knows nothing about advanced metrics or he just ignores them and does the old school b.s. managing. Plus he refusal to play the young guys more unless a player goes down with a injury and he is more or less forced to play the kids. No good manager would continue to bat Hamilton leadoff.
