We hit .167 in 1 game against Cleveland this week only to follow it up by hitting .113 in 2 games against the Yanks. 2 of 3 starts the starter allowed 5 runs.   |

The team has quit. Shut down for the season. Whatever good that existed in April and May was like a delusional fog that lifted in the summer heat. We once were top 10 in both offense and bullpen of all 30 teams. They sit at 16th and 17th now. The starting pitching is not improving at all. If Dick Williams sits on his ass all winter I'm not going to watch this team at all next season. There is absolutely nothing fun at all about this team right now. They have been dismal since the break. They have never come back from the break.   |

Just noticed our bullpen had a 25 K( since the allstar break. 152 strikeouts in 54 innings. Wrong! I didn't clear out the K column obviously.  |
