May not have turned out any better but Peralta has been awful of late. I would have gave Cingrani a shot. I just don't have ANY faith in Cingrani unless it's a weak hitting B. Hamilton type of lefty hitter. Peralta's velo is fine, action of the pitches seems lacking/flat. Same w/ Lorenzen. I still say keep running 'em out there in good situations, they're the best guys other than Iggy in the pen, let 'em learn. If they're arms are barking, go around idiot Price and ask them directly(Doc's/Front office folk), Price wants to try and save his job, could care less if he fucks up these kids arms/futures.

Don't know who scouts for the reds or calls the pitches but imho it's been atrocious for yrs., and it's something that w/ a smart ex-pitcher/catcher on the bench or in the clubhouse could be helped greatly. Could be just the young pitchers throwing their pitches and they're fucking idiots w/ no experience, just don't know but it needs to change and I believe it'd make a Huge difference.

I was at the game tonight, and Castillo looked real good in person. His 1st batter K of Trea Turner definitely got the Nats fans attention. He definitely left a positive impression with the fans at the game. From where I was sitting just past 3B, I had a hard time telling where he was missing the zone. His fastball touched 100, and was consistently 98-99. The bullpen just looked tired...we really need some starters to start going 6-7 innings to give those guys a break. Iglesias & Lorenzen were the 2 guys who made the catcher's glove "pop" the best. Cingrani looked looked escaping his jam. The 2nd HBP on Mesoraco looked and sounded nasty...surprised he stayed in the game.
Nationals have a nice little ballpark. Fairly easy to get to and from via the Metro. The stuff they did with the Presidents was fun. Great, energetic crowd at the game. It was "Game of Thrones" Night...I don't watch the show, but they themed the night well. Lots and Lots of really hot ladies at the park!
