I had a negative thought. The big critique of the young pitchers has been walks and bombs. But I will say at least the HR's are solo shots. That is acceptable. And I really believe the BB's are nerves only. 73 pitches through 4. Like to see him complete 6 frames.

Who gets sent down tomorrow for Bailey? Winker or Hernandez? Nine man pen now so I would guess Hernandez and Winker sticks around till Finnegan is ready. It should be Turner. Let the Twins have him if they can't work a deal. Dumb to keep a guy on roster all year. If Finnegan is indeed coming up I say Garrett gets sent down. Castillo Bailey Feldman Finnegan Adleman That would be the order. |

We score 5 off Burg. The kid dances through 5 and 2. And we are going to lose this fuckin game. The bullpen ERA has risen 0.75 in the last 4 weeks. Maybe with some starters getting healthy they will be able to give the pen a much needed break. At least we have a chance tonight cause Nats pen is like ours was last year. |

Sen Hamilton down then! He has options. No shit. I doubt sending him down helps. He is who he is just never gonna hit. If he was used right would be asset to club. He probably should not start a game at home. Start him on the road in those parks with big OFs. Winker Shebler Duvall OF would play just fine in GABP. |

Just happy Castillo pitched relatively well considering the jitters and the best hitting team in baseball. Baby steps.. Lorenzen just missing his spots, shit happens, he's still a stud imo. 5-4 reds, luckily after the at'em ball to Votto. Need another run or 2 just for breathing room.
