I tend to agree with Clay and Rod on the rotation issue. I really don't have too much fault to place on the organization. Kids have come up from the minors and started in the bullpen many of times. It's an opportunity, that as a youngster, you better take advantage of. Even now, while some have pitched well in Louisville, they are still not throwing strikes, which will destroy them up in the Show. Rod, mark my words on Garrett though. That kid will be very good.

Duly noted! I am not saying anything good about any starter. After my Adleman stats he was the latest boo boo in the diaper before the 6th inning victim! Keeping hush ova here!

Heard chatter this morning on MLB Network saying there is a good amount of interest in Iglesias. No surprise but with the control on him he really could bring a haul. What do we want from Washington? That was the only specific team talked about.

The Yankees made a big move with the White Sox yesterday, and the side story is that it still leaves the Red Sox in a hunt for a 3B. The Reds could be missing an opportunity here. We should be reaching out to the Red Sox to see if they have any interest in Eugenio Suarez. He's a productive player, solid enough defensively, young, cheap, and a few years of control left, so he should provide a nice return...maybe even package Cingrani with him. Plus, we've got Senzel who will be here soon. Hopefully the team is at least considering this.

If we get 3 failed starting pitchers for Cueto what do you think Suarez will bring?

Williams making a mistake IMO. He should shop Iglesias. See which team offers the most. If that isn't enough then hold onto him. But I would for sure be shopping him to multiple teams.

Controllable players like Iglesias have been bringing a bounty in return. We should be listening and fielding offers, but at the same time, only accept a full haul in return.

This is why the Red's FO usually gets fucked on trades, it's antics like this. Not shopping Iglesias is like the old Seinfeld episode where Elaine wants Jerry to "save a movie" for her. Put the product out there (see the movie now), don't wait for watered down offers to come to you! So called rebuilding teams can afford to be aggressive, what do you have to lose?

This is also dead like the Reds
They have nothing to trade except for Inglesis and they won't
Maybe Storen for some 26 yr old injured AA prospect.

Reds team in future is all short stops, catchers, AAAA outfields and AAAA pitchers.
At least they got something.
Tony C has faced 99 batters this year and has given up 9 HR Bleachers fans are only ones upset with this trade.
Question: wasn't he/Tony C a 1st rd pick?
I sure hope he is not another wasted high pick.

Looked it up Third round. Still a bust but not as bad Only 32% of players drafted in the 3rd round even make it to the majors, so in my book, if a 3rd rounder makes it, he is far from a bust.
