Feeding off Brad's Minor League Report, Homer Bailey had a rehab start and will be back. After the setback in the spring(again) I told myself and others he will never pitch again. So for me he is the frontrunner. Finnegan with a soft tissue injury boggles my mind. And Disco, in a parallel course to my thinking with Bailey might be headed for surgery and we could not see 100 innings from him til 2019. Then there are the younger pitchers. I am encouraged by them getting some good starts but a long ways to go for them. I was going to add successful innings, decent innings, but to reach the number they will have to be decent so I forwent that aspect of it. So let's see where we're all at.

I say Scott Feldman reaches 100 innings first. He's the vet innings eater and Price tends to leave him in longer than the young bucks. I won't vote yet Rod if you want to add Feldman.

We are picking the first pitcher to reach 100 innings from the list of injured pitchers we thought would all have 100
Right?

The thought hit me because in March I thought the last one who would even pitch would be Bailey. Wanted to get everybody else's take AND a vote! Polls always seem to degenerate into wordlessness!

Bailey & Finnegan have both started their rehab assignments, but based on their pitch counts, I believe Bailey will arrive before Finnegan. Disco is now looking at August if he pitches again this year. Reed is starting to turn it around a little bit too and hopefully he is finding some consistency.

I took Finnigan but it doesn't look like any of the above will pitch 100 ML innings this year

Just thinking about that question.
It is a good question that shows the problem with this years team. At Redsfest everyone would of thought we we see 100 innings from each of theses or at least 3 on the list
Now none will get 100 innings.
I remember threads talking about how the Reds would cover 1450 or so innings this year. We are seeing the results with the shit that is going out there

Well, unless Feldman goes on the DL, my vote doesn't count! I totally misread the point of the thread. It was the "other" choice that threw me.

I think ol Yo-Yo is a Bailey or Finnegan return away from receiving his retirement papers.

I think ol Yo-Yo is a Bailey or Finnegan return away from receiving his retirement papers. I sure hope so. I think he already retired earlier this season, just hasn't told the Reds, still getting paid for this garbage every 5 days.

Well, the Red's aren't the only one with an Arroyo. My fantasy team, which is full of pitchers from various teams confirms that. My pitching is so bad, that even when I pick up a pitcher who has been doing great, he immediately turns into Arroyo.

I can't string together a complete week out of my team and am facing 4 of the best teams in a row. Toast!

Well I change my vote to no one. Not one of these previously injured players will reach 100 innings because after 2 weeks back with the Reds, they'll get injured again. It's the Cincinnati way!
