Won a series. Been a while.
Offense was solid scoring over 5 runs a game and batting over .350 RISP. We were double digits in first 2 games with hits til last night's 7. Run game was light but we're doing it on pure grit and ability.
We were an inning away from Bonilla of getting 2 quality starts. Officially we have gotten only 1 quality start in the last 10 games by Feldman Monday. He and Bonilla combined for a 3.27 ERA around Garrett's blowup.
Bullpen bounced back only allowing 1 unearned run in 11 innings. In 3 of the last 4 series their ERA has been 3.65 or less and they remain a top 10 bullpen.
Defense had 2 errors and 1 unearned run.
We sit 2 games under .500 through 46 games which represents 28% of the season. I hope we can remain steadfast til we get our rotation sorted out. In the meantime feels good to get a winning series.
