It gets tough to look at this shit when the Reds are doing what they are doing. We haven't had a quality start since 8 games ago. Most starters are allowing 5-6 runs a night. Bullpen is living on borrowed time coming in with a 3.38 ERA(8th) but over the last 7 games they have posted up a 4.94 and 1.55 WHIP. Can you say plummeting? We are dead last in starter ERA at 5.93. Wow. The 29th ranked team has a 5.18 ERA by contrast. This is apropos epic fail. How bad is it? They have scored 37 runs in the last 6 games and won 1 game when they scored 12 runs. Anyway we did our job offensively this series. The offense in fact is 7th in average at .265 and 8th in runs at 218. Pacing well above 800 runs. Defense is top 5 and 3rd in fewest errors. Bullpen again at a tenuous 8th. As a fan this is just painful to watch. We are squandering some very good talent and performances. We are in a free fall.

I'll admit, I haven't watched a whole game since opening day. They are tough to watch with the bipolar personality as it pertains to offense/pitching. We don't have even a #3 in the rotation, a mess of 4,5 and AAAA pitchers. If Garrett works out and when Disco and Finnegan get back from injury, we'll have a decent rotation, but still no Ace. I left out Bailey on purpose because I don't believe he will ever pitch a whole season (sorry Dawg) . Not that I think Bailey is not a great pitcher, just injury prone. I've often wondered if there isn't something in his mechanics that screams injury. I've not been a fan of Finnegan since we got him, but he looked great at the beginning of the season before injured. Arroyo is toast and Adleman is pure shit. Can't think of the pitcher's name that was our OD starter (shame on me) but he'll be a good innings eater that will keep us in most games. The FO still doesn't understand how to put asses in the seats. They think it's dog shit on a stick give away night or the over priced Diamond seats, where true fans never sit. They don't understand that winning baseball garners the most interest and increases ticket and merchandise sales. Votto probably accounts for 75% of the merchandise sales. Do I think they can field a winning team? Yes. Do I think they will in the next few years? No, not with this FO and blooming idiot for a manager.

They have no feel for what is going on within the organization. Williams is pretty solid but it's going to take a while before we see the impact he has. This team is offensively better than the 2010 team and we are pissing it away. I really think they want it that way because they have another date in mind. In my mind that is pathetic and inept thought process.
