I fell asleep practically before the game started but I didn't miss much obviously. And game threads aren't much fun during losing streaks. Repeating yourself ad infinitum.
You score 21 runs in 4 games and lose all=miserable.

All I hope for is we hang around .500 til we get 3 starters back. And all 3 are throwing as we speak.
Ship might be sinking faster than a rehab assignment(s) will allow though. This is bad..

I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get a top 5 draft pick again next year. I hope we draft hitters. They are less likely to hit d.l. Draft hitter trade excess for pitching. Sign at least one decent starting pitcher not to a 5 year deal. Find a decent guy on a 3 yr deal max. for next year. or trade for one like we did with Disco. We suck at drafting pitching for the most part. We have no where near money to spend the Cubs do but they drafted Hitters and more hitters then signed pitchers. I think that maybe the way to go. We could use OF upgrades and we are gonna need a SS and probably a 2B upgrade as well. So IMO draft hitter stay away from pitchers.

Reds pitching sucking dong again today but whodathunkit, the offense has put up 10, lead now 10-8 in the 7th. I think Rod said w/ the rockies that the reds would have to score 10 to win a game in this series, looking like a prophet.

If all ever get healthy. I know probably never gonna happen but just for sake of talking. I am gonna exclude Iglesias and Lorenzen from the conversation. So mine would be 1. Disco 2.Homer 3.Garrett 4.Finnegan I can't come up with a 5th guy based on who we have saw pitch so far in the majors. It could be Mahle or Castillo or Stephenson or Reed or Davis or someone in A ball. But as of now IMO if everyone was healthy we still have no clear cut number 5 guy. I am excluding guys that won't be here past this season. Feldman ETC. Yet having said all of that about starting pitching I still would draft hitter after hitter in the draft.

I think you hit it on the head, same top 4 when healthy. I think it's past time to get RobSteve in there as well. And this Wojo kid looked great, so maybe he can be that #5, maybe more. Draft hitters, been saying it for 5 yrs. When everyone has a stable of 96+mph. throwers, need peeps that can hit more than ever. The Cubs/Cards got this better than everyone the last decade(took the cubs time for kids to get drafted and grow up). Their defense pretty much stink and they win anyway. "Grow" a couple starters, pay for a couple and pray. But you have to score in this era and most GM's are now following suit and runs are going up this season. Defense be damned. Before this week the reds were the best D in the world, basicly a .500 team; the Nats' were the worst, best record in baseball. Offense.

700wlw.iheart.com/onair/lance-mcalister-7818/reds-draft-option-at-no-2-15828158/This team still needs pitching. They don't have an ace or even a number two unless Amir pans out There was an article about players coming back after being out for two years due to injuries. The percent that have come back and then put together two years back to back successful years is very slim I don't have a lot of faith in Homer and starting to see DLSclafini as a paper tiger Finnigan is a 3/4 at starter. There isn't a real stand out stud hitter such as Bryant, Harper, etc Reds get something like 3 of first 35 picks and 5 of top 55 Numbers are exact This should be a make or break draft year for them

What's up fellas!!!
Haven't been around for a very long while but thought I'd drop by and offer my two cents.
I'm pleasantly surprised by the team this year and have a pretty healthy optimism for our Reds in the near future.
And where is Chris's bitch ass, anyways!??!!?
And give me my DIPPIN DOTS..
Lol!

I need some dip n dots myself! Chris on the other hand has a critical vaginal wound that requires around the clock medical attention. If not treated he might cease to exist! But on a positive front= we are experiencing severe pain of our own. Took us 12 runs to win yesterday! Fuck it let's just talk about vaginas and weed and beers!
