You hit OK. Could have used a few more walks but hit .292 RISP and score 15 runs and get swept. You would have needed to score 28 runs to win the series so we know where the problem lies this series.
No quality starts and both sides of the pitching equation walked roughly 7 batters per 9 innings. 19 walks in 24 innings to 20 strikeouts.
We got great pitching in San Fran and no hitting. Then hitting and no pitching in Chi town. Bad teams find ways to lose. Before this road trip we were doing everything we could to win. Total disaster of a road trip and the team became unglued posting up it's worst defensive series of the year. Kicking balls, not making plays, dropping balls because of wind and sun. 3 errors and 4 unearned runs.
Anyway let's see if we bounce back. This team clearly has bipolar disorder..
