What exactly is it about the west coast? I have heard stories about this from old guys talking about even the 70's Reds. Go out to the west coast and lay eggs like the Easter Bunny. Is it those stupid bowling jackets? Burn the MF'ers. I don't know. A team has to have fun and it has carried them. This has to be just a hiccup because this is not the same team that left Cincinnati. Can't blame it on the pitching. We got 3 quality starts before Sunday's disaster. The bullpen had gone 12.1 and allowed 1 run and we got 8 innings out of Bonilla. That right there plus the 2 other quality starts is amazing. And we blew it. My two cents is while we are well on our way there was , for whatever reason a serious lapse in judgement or lifestyle or something. This was not the same team we have seen and we had pitching on a silver platter. Hitting left the building. Runs went 3-2-1 til the bomb dropped. Ominous sign right there! LOL! Anyway we fucked up. Let's right the ship and move on. 19-18 in 2nd week of May. In the words or Mr T "WE got a lotta mo". I believe we do. We shall see! Sucks right now! And it's real desperate when you quote the T! LOL!

If a leprechaun dressed in red told you the reds would be 19-18 on this date 3 months ago, would you have said "fuck yes!"? I know I would have, and you compound the pitching woes/injury bites, I'd say are you kidding me? Lots to improve, need better discipline, yada yada yada, we all know what they need and so do they. As shitty as it is to watch a young, struggling team, it's rewarding as hell once they grow up...before they become Yanks/Sox etc.. Need this batch to get the formula right before the dates all hit.
