Spent bullpen. Can't hit with RISP all of the sudden. And they have a kid starting that was dogshit in the minors. Instant loss.

Doesn't it figure. No help from the offense and the kid throws a pretty good game. If he hadn't gave up the two solo shots.... *sigh*

Wow. Bonilla couldn't get through 6 at AAA. Goes 8 innings today allowing 3 runs. Very nice kid. 100 pitches. Saved the pen. That's a courageous outing in my opinion. He gave us all he had.
Reds meanwhile pissing away this series. 0-18 RISP the last 2 games. Damn shame.

GG by Bonilla, color me impressed despite his AAA numbers. This game both teams just went through the motions, clearly gassed, just wanted it over with to hit the hay. So, might be a mirage in what Bonilla did, but his action on his pitches looked good, location even better. Dr. Baker sunday special for a Saturday, might as well have forfeit, raised the white flag before the 1st pitch.
