That's one of the keys right there. We always beat up on the lousy teams, but never could beat the teams who were over .500.

Seriously, there is a statistical foundation to what is happening. I think some don't realize it and if the Reds fade they will think it was all a dream. To me this just illustrates how truly close we are to being a playoff team.
