We bashed the hell out of the Cardinals, scoring 10 runs only to squeak out of town with a comeback win in 2 games.  But that happens when you go 5 games without a quality start and the starters at best only pitch 5.1 innings.  |

Then we come home and hit .167 the first 2 games before going 21 for 62(.328) the last 2.  Feels good to get a series win in! We are a top 10 team in all of baseball in all 3 of Runs(8th) and Bullpen(9th) and Defense(4th). But the starting killing us as we are dead last at 30th with a 5.85 ERA.We did manage 2 quality starts this series and were an inning away from 3 with Rookie Davis. Anyway back to .500 and were on the cusp of derby weekend. I'll take it! But if we had some starters we'd be on the cusp of a playoff team. A man can dream!  |
