Going to get this game started very soon. Looking forward to seeing Finnegan tonight. Would also love to see Votto wake up.

Nice job by Finnegan in the first. Boy that Franco has some mustard behind his swing. Hard sounding single!

Votto got that one a tad too far toward the handle.

Same shit different year. some guy named jerkoff for the Phillies has got 6 outs in 20 pitches. meanwhile 37 pitches and counting to get 6 outs for the Cueto trade bust guy. This lineup never saw a pitch they didn't like to hack at. We have one pro. hitter in the lineup One it is not hard for pitchers to pitch to this lineup as they get there selfs out.

Make that one and a half pro. hitters. I forgot about Barnhart. He has a plan when he comes to the plate. If he sees a strike he hacks but he is willing to work the count. He don't have a great hit tool but he at least has a plan at the plate.

Votto should be leading off and Hamilton 9th as he is clueless at the plate. But we don't have a manager like a francona or a Maddon. Who puts there best OBP guy at leadoff. Like they do with Carlos Santanta and Kyle S.

Barnhart reminds me somewhat of Jason larue. Same type of gritty approach at the plate.

Peraza hitting 2nd is a joke. Guy is a good hitter but he won't draw 25 walks all season. So if he wants to keep hitting he better learn to be a good bad ball hitter. Pitchers will stop throwing him strikes.

Like they do with Carlos Santanta and Kyle S. As the season progresses and peraza has the kind of stick we think he can have, I wouldn't mind seeing him leadoff and Hamilton got second. Can you imagine how nervous a pitcher would be with peraza on first and Hamilton showing burn? Lol
