I didn't buy into Garrett. He was hyped by his affiliation with another sport and had mediocre numbers. But Herget I believe in and he has had some bad outings.

I wouldn't worry a ton about Herget yet, as I'm sure there's an adjustment period moving up to more advanced hitters in AAA. Could be learning he just can't throw cheese and blow people away like he could at the lower levels. Some of the reports I've read seems to believe that Herget is more suited for a 7th or 8th inning role early on anyway. The same issue happened to Alejandro Chacin, we had written him off by the end of April as he kept getting blasted, though I'm still not sure he can be successful at the MLB level, but here we are in mid August, and he's worked his ERA down to a very respectable 2.60. Since the calendar hit June he has a 0.92ERA with 39K in 39.2IP. I'm sure Herget can make the same adjustment.
