Me too Rod. Me too. Ownership and most of the coaches can't think outside of the box for one second. They're unable to see the forest for the trees. Almost everyone that follows the NFL, and the Bengals in particular, know what the problem(s) are whether it be ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith, other coaches, other owners, the fans, the players, etc. The team is owned and ran by an incompetent soul in Mike Brown who continues to convince himself that he knows best and any criticism of him is unjustified.
A competent owner would've canned Lewis and brought in a well respected and innovative coach years ago. Some of my most recent posts have stated that if Marvin Lewis has any decency in him whatsoever, he'll resign at the end of this season. Bengals Nation deserves better.

We are stuck in this fuckin conundrum. Nowhere to move. Nowhere to hide. To me this is a team that can win. If I coached this team they could win. The lack of faith. The lack of will. This team fuckin sucks.

They screwed up again. The Bengals had the option of bringing back either WJIII or Cedric Peerman from the IR and guess who they chose? The veteran Peerman. The Bengal secondary has been bad this year so adding WJIII makes a ton of sense. Plus the guy is this teams NUMBER ONE DRAFT PICK! Doesn't it make sense to find out what he's capable of before heading into the off-season? Like I've stated time and again, Lewis always chooses the veteran over the younger player regardless of need and ability. I'm sure Lewis will mention the need of having another RB on the roster in light of Gio's torn ACL, but it pales in comparison to getting some much needed work for your teams number one draft selection. Damn it to hell!

I'm back. Don't want to think about the draft until a new coaching staff (emphasis on staff)is made. We will then know offense and defensive schemes. Some will say that fat boy Smith made the OL. Not me but that has been the only change. Zietler is not playing like he will be a FA next year. If coaching change is made I feel we will have at least three new starters on the OL. I wonder if teams have figured out our DL schemes. They sure are not the same as last year.

This season/team is toast and the only thing that keeps me going is watching the Bengals move up in the draft with each loss. Sad state of affairs but that's where they're at. The first thing I would do is fire Lewis now and instate Paul Guenther as the teams head coach to see what we have. Personally, I don't thing Guenther is the answer but it's worth looking into. After canning the rest of the staff after the season, I would bring in a well respected coach from a winning franchise OR I would bring in one of the more progressive coaches from the college ranks that coached in one of the more prominent conferences such as The Big Ten, The SEC or The Pacific Coast Conference. College coaches usually have a lot more insight than NFL coaches have as to which college players are worth drafting as well as knowing who the sleepers are. Jimmy Johnson and Pete Carroll are two such examples.
