I figured there's not enough interest to have individual game threads for this thing. Go Cubs.
Even though I'm pulling for them to win, it feels kind of wrong for them to have Schwarber playing in the Series as he hasn't played since Opening Day.

I didn't think I'd ever say this, but I think I want Cleveland to win the WS. The Cubs fans, but especially the bandwagon Cub fans have been exceptionally obnoxious. Reminds me of what bandwagon Red Sox fans were like the year they won their 1st one. Plus, I think the Cubs lose too much of their Cub-ness if they win...can't have that.
Most important reason: Major League > Rookie of the Year

Any team that hates the Cardinals more than we do gets my support when we are out of contention.

Definitely one heck of a game, but one I thought was fairly poorly managed though by Maddon...but he's a got ring now, so who am I to 2nd guess him

I thought using Chapman earlier in the games was a good move by Maddon. But I didn't think it was wise to use him so many innings.
Of course, Maddon was managing from the win-or-go-home perspective for 3 games in a row. Tomorrow doesn't matter if you can't win today. In that viewpoint, everything he did with Chapman was justified.

Injuries are a reality. Cubs were destiny. A healthy Cleveland next year will be sick!
