Should have put an indifferent on there. It's a tricky question IMO. I prefer not to think about it.
I will say one thing. He took his medicine. And somehow got this team to play good baseball down the stretch. The pitching obscured it even though we had a few strides there. I say since he got served up a shit sandwhich and he ate it like a man. Let him see what he can do. I don't think anybody realizes how much abrupt progress this team made after the AS break.

I actually think this is a good call to bring at the end of the day. We showed improvement the back half of the year, and in all likelihood, the goal for 2017 is to finish .500 or better while the team continues to develop. Best part, in my mind, is that it is a 1-year deal with a team option for year 2. If we show no improvement, then we can him at the end of the year at no cost, but if we have a successful year, we can bring him back. I think the job will be more attractive next offseason than this one, which can open us up to a broader pool of candidates if necessary.

I'm good with the decision to keep him around another year. We're not gonna be in contention regardless next year.

You don't even realize it bro. One game below .500 in the second half to be exact. If Iglesias didn't blow the game with two outs in the bottom of the ninth we would have had a winning record for the second half.
