Well you know the big story was the 22 hit night in game 1. Glad we got a game thread in that night of all nights! LOL! But we had double digit hits in every game of the series. The Cards needed help from the umps to win tonight. Anyway it's over. I think we end the season series tied. But enough of that. Team continues to hit and play good baseball. Only 1 error through the series and no unearned runs. Peraza has been solid at SS and Suarez, the human mess at 3B to begin the season has cleaned his game up defensively and looks like a completely different player. On the year we have 702 Runs and project to get 715 which is 74 more runs than last season and first time since 2011 in which we scored more than 700 Runs. 735 that year. Progress. Bet you didn't even realize it!
The pitching other than game 2 was great. 3 quality starts from Adelman, Desclafani, and Straily. Stephenson and the bullpen B squad sunk the overall stats. Splits were solid for the starters though.
