The refs gifted the Ste-elitists once again. What's new, right? It really doesn't matter what replay shows, the league is always gonna side with the Ste-elitists regardless. However, this doesn't excuse the Bengals (Dalton) from playing a piss-poor game. I have to agree 100% . That long pass in 1st half steelers were holding big time and it wasn't called they held us all day! And why wasn't the hit on our TE a defenseless receiver? And off sides? ANd that last catch by Boyd he WAS DOWN! I can't believe they didn't over turn that call! Home cookin! Made me sick. Both teams had bad calls/non-calls made against them today. Carlos Dunlap could've been called for hitting Roethlisberger with the crown of his helmet in the first half and there was a close call that went against a Steeler DB in the second half but that's about it. The Bengals? They weren't as lucky having to deal with far more bad calls in far more crucial situations than the Ste-elitists. The Ste-elitists committed three blatant (there was more) holding penalties right in front of the refs that weren't called. All three of these no-calls allowed the ball carrier to gain positive yardage. Replay shows that CJ Uzomah scored a TD that was ruled as an incomplete pass, Tyler Boyd didn't fumble and Maurkice Pouncey false started. I wonder how the league is gonna spin this one? No conclusive evidence? Bad angle? We're only human? Sorry Marvin... One thing that I want to make clear is that even though the Bengals had their hands full in battling the Ste-elitists and the refs, the Bengals still should've won today. The play calling by Zampese was below par for much of the game and Dalton wasn't as sharp as he has been as of late. Getting back to the leagues coddling of the Ste-elitists; such favoritism only weakens the league and such coddling is only one step away from games being pre-determined much like professional wrestling. If we fans don't stand up to this, the game we all love will be so changed we won't recognize it.

Got 2 words for today=Non Effort.
We PC'd it up in the hometown of our head coach we were passionless. This MF'er should be fired immediately. The thing that has been the missing link isn't players. It's coaches. My optimism for this season has taken a monumental hit. But add to it that ridiculous and obvious non call at the end. My faith in the integrity of the game is demolished. That was so fucking blatant. My view of the NFL is altered forever. It's bullshit.

Day later still feel the same about our head coach but our whole season is on this offensive line. If this is their ceiling it's going to be a long season. We have too much position talent to squander because these guys can't block and it's maddening. We have the horses just need a head and gut check. Denver is beatable. We are a lot better than we've shown through 2.

If we don't have better than Bodine on the roster we need to look for scraps.

Trading up for Russell Bodine is one example. Domata Peko is yet another example having been in free-fall for over four years now yet the Bengals refuse to replace him. It's as if they want to cram their mistakes down everyones throats while proclaiming that they know best; not the fan base. Well guess what? Pro Football Focus agrees with the fan base, sorta. Bodine and Peko are consistently at or near the bottom of the rankings at their respective positions.

I thought I was watching an episode of Ripley's Believe It or Not. Business as usual. Nothing new. The league has played favorites with the Ste-elitists for decades. I knew it was coming before I ever turned on the TV but I didn't think it would be that brazen; that obvious. Personally, I don't know how a Ste-elitist fan can remain such if they value the integrity of the game after yesterdays debacle. The terrible calls or no-calls made on the Ste-elitists behalf were so blatant, even a dead and blind squirrel could see what's going on. The only good thing that came out of yesterdays game is that Steeler Nation can no longer deny that the league/refs do make unfair calls/no-calls on their behalf and have done such for years.

Bad call after bad call and he doesn't do a thing except stand there with a look of confusion on his face. Bill Parcells, Bill Walsh, Vince Lombardi, Pete Carroll and just about every other successful coach I can think of would've jumped all over the refs for those calls. If Lewis doesn't stand up for his players, how can he expect them to play hard for him. Showing some passion; some aggression is good for a team. It can fire them up and get them to put their best on the field.

I thought the D showed up yesterday and were hung out to dry. The offense is a mess and dominantly because of that line. We are such such such a better team than this. Knowing we have the talent and seeing this debacle is very difficult.

These are the two most significant factors that led to the loss in my opinion. Dennard gave up a couple of big passes that also hurt the team. Lewis has his strengths, but building confidence and instilling an aggressive attitude amongst the players isn't his strong suit. This is what hampers his ability to get the most out of each player.

Dalton's shit was psychological residue IMO. He manned up after last week and said it was a team effort but getting killed is on the back of his mind. Combine that with the stupid gameplan and a shitty O-line and we were toast. We played that game from snap 1 like we were down 17 points and committed to nothing. Total fear. Most of this also IMO can be quelled by good coaching. The team was on edge and the coach negated them. That is a losing combination of factors.

You were lucky it was raining. It hid the tears of bitter vetch and kept the Bengals from being blown out. Our Pittsburgh coach came in there and bitched out and let you have the win so you had the win regardless. You guys are not that good of a football team so get used to that. You were the lucky ones. We have a head coach that is a pussy. Merry Christmas!
