I expect a clean game from both teams. They're both well aware that any infraction is not gonna be tolerated by the officials and injuring one another doesn't 'pan out' in the long run for either team. Getting Darquez back will help as will getting WJIII back later in the year (hopefully). Defensive tackle and in particular stopping the run is still the teams biggest problem. It's hard for me to believe that Domata Peko is the teams best option. If he is, we're in trouble so getting Brandon Thompson back becomes all that more important. I'm afraid the loss of Marcus Hardison and Andrew Billings to injury is gonna haunt this team all year.

Ben Roethlisberger is gonna throw a lot of short passes this Sunday to negate the Bengal pass rush. The Bengals have got to counteract this strategy with two things: 1) Keep a defender on every offensive skill position player every snap which includes WRs, TEs, and RBs and 2); TACKLE! The Bengals missed on a lot of tackles in week one vs. the Jets. This is inexcusable. If they allow any of Pittsburghs players to get away from what should be an easy tackle, it's gonna be a long day. Basically, all the Bengals have to do to get a win is to play smart and mistake free football while focusing on the basics. Keeping Roethlisberger in the pocket and not allowing him to roll out and/or run is another key to winning. Lewis and company have faced the Steelers more than enough times to know what it's gonna take to win this game so poor strategy, not tackling well, not stopping the run, not becoming emotional, etc., etc. are all things that I expect to see out of the Bengals this Sunday. Anything other than that is on Marvin.

The first couple of days after last Sunday I was just pleased to get a W first out. But if the lines foreshadow an ominous decline we are in trouble and not just this week. We really need to see something this week to see where they are at. It all starts in the trenches and they got rocked last week.

And our Dline doesn't play better gonna have problems. If the O line can protect Dalton he should be able to throw all day on them.

Can someone please inform Ken Zampese that it's raining in Pittsburgh and that a short passing game is needed ASAP! This game is set-up for a Bengal victory but I don't know if the coaching staff is aware of this. And where is Gio? One of the teams/leagues most explosive players hasn't touched the ball one time. Burkhead? Short swing passes to these two guys is paramount to winning.

Marvin Lewis is a genius when it comes to 'playing not to lose'.
Pittsburgh Steeler fans booing an injured Bengal. Typical. And they wonder why the NFL world hates them.
The Bengals can win this game if the coaching staff pulls their heads out of their asses and realize that they are the better team across the board. The game plans on both sides of the ball, especially on offense, need to improve. Offensively, s short passing game that gets ALL receivers involved. Defensively, get a safety or a linebacker in the Steeler backfield on every pass. Roethlisberger is being given way to much time to look down field.

Clean game so far. Not taking anything away from the Steelers, but the Bengals seem to be playing down to them. Dalton needs to calm down, relax and play better. He's made a lot of bad throws because he's too hyped up. The Bengals have enough talent to easily score three TDs in the second half. The Steeler secondary is terrible. These guys can be thrown on all day long.

Dalton is playing like he's hyped up on meth. He has receivers open on almost every pass play but it seems as if he doesn't see them. McCarron?

The refs gifted the Ste-elitists once again. What's new, right? It really doesn't matter what replay shows, the league is always gonna side with the Ste-elitists regardless. However, this doesn't excuse the Bengals (Dalton) from playing a piss-poor game.

That long pass in 1st half steelers were holding big time and it wasn't called they held us all day! And why wasn't the hit on our TE a defenseless receiver? And off sides? ANd that last catch by Boyd he WAS DOWN! I can't believe they didn't over turn that call! Home cookin! Made me sick.

Really a boring game, IMO. I hate football in t-shirt weather or when baseball is still in regular season. Steelers and Bengals will both have ups and downs all year. You guys got Tyler Boyd he is from a few miles down the road. As a high s schooler he was a man amongst boys. I predict that he will eventually become just as good as AJ Green and then you guys will be even tougher to beat. I figure same as most years, we will win the Pittsburgh game and you guys will win the Ohio game. Well I was really looking forward to visiting your city with my Stepdaughter moving to blue Ash late last year. She was very happy and then out of the blue her company began fu%#ing with their employees, so she simply quit, rented a truck, packed up and moved back here. I was glad that she was back but dang it I wanted to have a get together and meet all of you guys since she was out there. Email me if you want my cell number jckhjk@msn.com PJ
