2 HR in a 4 game series and we started with a loss Thursday night. After that we hit everything in sight including going 17 for 36 with RISP in the last 3 games. Offensively we have a lot to look forward to next season and many are just getting the ground under their feet as major leaguers.
Pitching on the other hand has a looong waaay to go. We're still getting short starts and leaning on a guy like Straily who while admirable shouldn't be a rotation cog. Would like to see some more progress from the young starters as the seasons winds down and out. The bullpen? Just go buy some real arms with the $$ savings in the offseason and get this dead weight otta here.
With football starting and a lost season for the home team interest in baseball seems to be an afterthought. But I can't wait for the baseball playoffs. Anyway...
