Pitching was otherworldy this series. And Finnegan broke his stretch of 4 terrible starts Friday night. Here was that stretch.A 2.08 WHIP and 6 BB9 is hard to accomplish. Bullpen shines again and in the last 7 series now look like this. And they were downright filthy this weekend with a 1.9 BB9 and a ridiculous 17.4 K9 2 quality starts and 3 solid outings from the starters with decent not great splits. When the rotation starts to come around a little more it will actually be time to get serious about winning.

Offense was underwhelming this series period.

It looks like the Reds are switching focus to high contact OBP guys. Hopefully the offense will change in the future. With the pitching healthy now. We're starting to see some potential materialize. That's not counting some up and coming guys in the minors. Let's hope the moves that have been made along with the draft will produce major league talent that can obtain and sustain success.
