It looks like admitted drug user LeVeon Bell of the Pittsburgh Steelers will be suspended for four games for not submitting to a drug test. Bell has missed multiple drug tests in the past but he always has an excuse: I forgot. Sure Le'veon... sure. Maybe Le'veon should try focusing more on himself than insulting the Bengals since it's obvious he's not capable of mentally multi-tasking.
I think this is also a good time to put things in perspective.
Vontaze Burfict has become public enemy number one in many NFL circles and some of the criticism he's receiving is justified. However, Steelers starting QB Ben Roethlisberger was accused of raping a girl in a bathroom and basically got off scot-free because of who he was. And now we have Le'veon Bell missing yet another drug test. A player who has a history of drug use. And there has never been a more brazen cheater than Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin. When is the NFL going to quit coddling the Steelers? (And don't forget that hair puller Mike Munchak's fine was lifted by the NFL.)
So who's the Big Bad Wolf here? Accused rapist Roethlisberger? Drug user Le'veon Bell? Head Coach cheating Tomlin? Hair puller Mike Munchak? Or helmet to helmet hitter Burfict? You be the judge.

Once a franchise reaches Dynasty status they do get coddled and it's BS but that's the way it is. That's why I absolutely loved us out ghetto-ing the Steelers last season although would have been far sweeter to have our cake and eat it too with getting the damn win with a backup QB. I hope all this shit is spoken about amongst the Bengals clubhouse and there is a hunger to beat up on these guys this year. But knowing Marvin is from Pittsburgh and hates anything more than X's and O's he'll comply with the league and kiss their ass. On the whole I hope we just have a slightly more contained rage that is just a tad more productive and we beat these assholes on the square then when ahead by multiple scores late we can pull out the cheap shots, laugh in their faces, tell them to fuck off, then gladly pay the fines and give some stinging sound bites at weekly press conferences about them being sore losers!
My prediction for the Steelers from the Bengals this year?

BTW 77 good to talk to you! Being in Cincinnati sports purgatory I have rarely talked about either team much this summer. But we are back in camp and the season is right around the corner. Look forward to seeing how we play early on with some new faces calling the shots. Honestly I thankfully and looking forward to playing a much more straight forward offense and instead of hiding weaknesses with gimmicks we bull ahead and overcome our weakness and establish the kind of offense we want to be.

Slow summer football wise. Just had to shell out 5 big ones for a concrete wall install. Now I have to fix a leaking spigot, kitchen faucet and tub faucet. When it rains it pours. No pun intended.
I sure hope WJIII returns at some point this season. Racking up a multitude of injuries just prior to the start of the season seems to be a Bengal tradition.

Just wanted you to know that I am still here. Three plays on Friday created the loss for the Bengal although it is preseason. I think they looked good. One play was the missed field goal, another was failing to make a first down on 4th down, and another was failing to get a safety. You might add to this failing to get a two point conversion.

They looked great. I was really impressed considering how slow the first teams look early on. I think this team may actually be on a mission this year. We'll see.

What do you know! The 'Steelitests' have been given another break by the NFL. RB LeVeon Bell's suspension has been reduced from 4 games to 3 even though he's failed or missed several drug tests in the past. Here's why this is significant. If Bell's 4 game suspension would've been upheld (as it should've been), Bell would face a 10 game suspension if he were to be caught using drugs or purposely missing his drug tests in the future. Now that his suspension has been cut to 3 games, he'll only face a 4 game suspension if caught again.
The Steelitests are a rogue organization that has been coddled by the league for many decades. It's about time it comes to a halt and all 31 teams should stand against this favoritism along with cheap shotting the Steelitests whenever possible; otherwise known as giving them a dose of their own and well deserved medicine.
