Buried under debt.... Buried under Reds... Jesus it's a holiday I am still finding time to party! I saw Jeff(Davis) with pics of his boy. I had mine too. I had my grandson the last 2 nights and days and yes what a challenge but we both wore each other out! Now that I am alone I miss him already. Just like I miss the Reds winning baseball! Happy Holiday Boys. Love yas alltime and its drunk talk mean it all! Cheers!

Happy 4th Rod and everyone! I'm down in flaredleg country with all the family in Panama City Beach. I really dreaded coming since I had a lot of work that will pile up but it's great to be with the family. Hope everyone can do the same.

Stopped on way home from Lake Cumberland. I guess I wasn't the only person who decided to travel this weekend.
Happy 4th to all. American Holiday.
Hard to believe Reds are just past half way point.
Positives. Bruce Duvall Cozart Negatives the pitching. Starters and relief
Am I missing any other first half results?

Hey 40, I'm glad you are enjoying the self proclaimed (by Bay County) "World's Most Beautiful Beaches). They did fireworks here last night and I'm not sure if PC did too. If not, go to Pier Park early and grab you an outside table at Margarittaville, you and your family will have a great view of the fireworks. Actually, ya'll have a good view anywhere in Pier Park. I live about an hour's drive away in a small town called Marianna. If I didn't have so much to do on my house, I'd come down and see ya. My Daddy passed away in February and I started moving in after the school year. Momma proceeded him in death by 3 years and all her stuff as well as his was all in the house. I'm about settled now, but it's been weird living in the house I grow up in. Happy 4th to you all!!!!

So you all are near Shipwreck Island waterpark. The parking lot for Shipwreck used to be Miracle Strip Amusement park, enjoyed many a day there as a kid and young adult. There are some of the old rides set up at Pier Park, if they're still running them. It's just something about fireworks over the gulf that's incredible to watch, at least for this old Florida boy. The wife is about the same, thanks for asking. We will have to get together the next time you're down.

I meant to add 40, that if you want to beat the heat for a little while, there is a Ripley's Believe it or not and across the street from that is a place called Wonderworks, it's an upside down building, better than Ripley's. You're up the road from a great buffet with seafood and everything else. I want to think the name is Captain Jacks. There is also Captain Andersons too. If you want steak, Angelos Steakhouse is the best. There a giant bull statue out front. You will probably need GPS to find some of these places, I do. As you've probably found out, the traffic is very screwy!

We have heard about Angelos and everyone talks about how great it is. We are on the beach about half a mile or so west of the pier. By the big plastic rocks if you know where those are. We have been grilling so far until after the 4th since the waits are very long. Thanks for the info, will definitely look into some of those places.

The place has changed so much since they let MTV come to LaVela for Spring Break several years ago. They are trying to make it a family atmosphere again.
