I know many of us are in the Ohio River Valley. We aren't just used to 90 degrees. We are used to the 70 percent humidity. But we man up and get through it because it's a fact of our lifetimes! It destroyed John Lamb today. But we did have 2 quality starts and some decent bullpen pitching. Bad news is the Reds are sitting on another losing streak. This is called stats and trends. Since they got their mind blown up in that 12-7 loss they haven't scored more than 4 runs. They fold up like a tent. I totally enjoyed baseball this weekend in addition to everything else. But they are sittin on TurdVille. Look at this beauty. Pitching with a strange cast of characters though has me low limit optimistic.   |

Looks like my fantasy offense Rod:
2 weeks ago, my team hit .335 42R 15HR 39RBI 1.023OPS
Last week vs you, it was Reds vs. A's: .243 28R 5HR 18RBI .656OPS. Once I went 1/25 on Monday, I knew it was going to be a bad week.

The two best threads on this site, Rod's Stats and Trends and Brad's Minor League Report. Albeit, they both are pretty dismal a good bit of the time, but no fault of you guys. I appreciate you both doing these threads. I'm thinking by 2019, it'll pick up. They really need to clean house on ALL the coaching staff including Hatcher. Price has reached Bob Boonean level of managerial "prowess". Actually not all, I'd keep Long Duck Dong the pitching coach.  I know I've said it before..... a terrible time to be a Red's fan. |

After you started to surge last year I've been scared to play you since. Not lying! You are a tough matchup and that was a nasty neck and neck stretch battle especially on the pitching decisions. I sat there falling asleep Saturday night watching Huston Street fuck up a win for Shoemaker(8 IP-11 K). It was killin me! Offense even in fantasy can be supremely spurious. I can light it up for 3-4-5 days then it goes off like a light switch. Talking with Clinz it happens to all of us. Pitching is usually more consistent. |

Brad outworks the hell out of me. He is the man! But I agree that I think between the 2 of us and you doing the PT we have some solid staples on this board. And lord knows we need em through this nightmare! LOL! Long Duck Dong as pitching coach! I love how we are embedded in the time we grew up in. It happens! You are killin me dude! On that note I am grabbing a toke and a beer and heading out into the bliss of my yard!  |
