Well...this happened last week and somehow I missed it. Daytona was involved in a major brawl www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqHS2Jr-Nt4Daytona is in the green & Pink jerseys. Among the throwing punch crowd on our side was a pair of our higher prospects in Aristides Aquino & Kuery Mella as well as hitting coach Gookie Dawkins. Marrero, Aquino, OF-Jonathan Reynoso, & C-Garrett Boulware were all ejected. Apparently the 2 teams had been it a bit of a beaning war over the past couple of games, and it was Gavin LaValley getting hit which triggered this one. And the damage report on this: OF-Aristides Aquino-7 games P-Keury Mella-5 games OF-Jonathan Reynoso-3 games C-Garrett Boulware-3 games RP-Brennan Bernardino-3 games 2B-Ty Washington-2 games RP-Ariel Hernandez-2 games Also serving multi-game suspensions are Manager Eli Marrero & hitting coach Gookie Dawkins

We got a Gookie Dawkins sighting. Lol. Hitting coach. That explains some of the hitting problems.

We got a Gookie Dawkins sighting. Lol. Hitting coach. That explains some of the hitting problems. Ironcially enough, Daytona is our best offensive hitting team in what's generally considered a pitcher's league. Dawkins couldn't hit a lick though.
