Yeah after years of being their target. Shoe on other foot=pot calling kettle black. Horseshit. I couldn't say it any better Rod. Paybacks are hell and the Steelers better get use to it because the Bengals and few other teams around the league are gonna be giving them a taste of their own 'long overdue' medicine.

Let's face it we ARE the most physical team in the AFC North. It comes with the territory. Let's just hope we can start handing out broken hearts with those handkerchiefs! HAHA!

They're also crying over the Bengals selection of WJIII which I think is silly. Artie Burns is a good CB and he should improve their secondary. Everybody knows the Bengals were targeting one of the top three WRs in this draft and if they were off the board, a CB or DT would more than likely be their target. But in Steelerland, the only reason the Bengals selected WJIII was because they knew the Steelers wanted him. Don't these people realize that teams don't waste first round draft picks on such frivolousness? I guess not.

How you guys all doing? Can't believe it is football season already. I wish they would push everything back a month or so. Football in heat sucks! I have been having some health issues here at the end of the summer. In August I started feeling a mass on the right side of my neck. After several weeks of antibiotics it was not getting smaller. I had a CT scan, and they suspected cancer. Here is what I sent to Rodneck and Jay. SW I don't have your email... I do have a form of throat cancer. It looks like a highly treatable cancer. The pet scan showed that there were no other areas of my body that this cancer has spread to. But it does show that the back of my tongue is lit up and so that's probably where it came from. Tonsillectomy Thursday morning at Montefiore followed by appointments with radiation and chemotherapy people to set up treatment. He said that there are only three ways of getting this type of cancer my tumor shows that it came from HPV virus could have been as long as forty years ago that I was exposed to it and he said it usually takes years and years to come to light. The other two ways of getting it are through tobacco use over a prolonged period or alcohol use and which I don't do enough alcohol and I do not do tobacco. So it's not the best news but it's way, better than it might have been. he said it's a highly treatable form of cancer and the fact that it hasn't spread to the rest of my body is great. Update 9/18/16: I had the tonsillectomy and more biopsies on them and on throat last Thursday. Now I am awaiting word on them and what the chemo and radiation schedule will be. I will try to be better and be on here more now that football is back. Pirates and Reds are taking turns smelling up their divisions so nothing exciting there either. PJ John Kovel jckhjk@msn.com

Cool to see we don't carry the rivalry into uncivility. We love our fellow AFC North fans! It would be boring if we were just all jerking each other off!

The Ste-elitists are still crying about last January's playoff game vs. Cincy. LeVeon Bell takes a shot at the Bengals in his newly released rap song which begs the question: Shouldn't Bell be more focused on himself and his team instead of the Bengals? Bell had a terrible game on Sunday with only a tad over thirty yards rushing and the Ste-elitists lost which drops them to 4-4. But in all due respect, what should anyone expect from a repeat drug offender? Who knows? Maybe it was 'the drugs talking' during that rap song. Good excuse; right? And as far as Bell the rapper goes; Bell should stick to his day job. That's one of the worse songs I've ever heard regardless of genre. The music sounds like a strange rendition of the theme music from the 'Twilight Zone' with Bell rapping incoherently. I wonder if he's ever heard of the words: melody, harmony, timing, tone, etc.? At least he has the balls to admit that others aren't impressed with his vocals. What a joke... Below is Bell's rap song if you're brave enough to risk going deaf. www.cincyjungle.com/2016/11/7/13522704/le-veon-bell-disses-bengals-in-new-rap-song-steelers-bengals-rivarly

Hearing the cottage cheese thighs quiver from hundreds of miles away after a hardcore Rodneck rant always gave me a thrill! Got no ammo to fire with this sorry ass season! LOL!

My teeth are chattering on the nightstand just thinking about our next meeting. I'll have to wash those "Roethlisberger" granny pants.
