Sorry, but I can't control the refs from throwing flags on non-existent penalties. The Bengals won this Super Bowl, but had it was stolen away by the league acting through the refs.
The league has had major problems when it comes to establishing a team in LA, so what better way to achieve that goal than by having the Rams win the Super Bowl right in their own backyard?
Guys, this game stinks to high Heaven and we may be witnessing the league attempting to influence the outcome of games as we've witnessed on occasion in the NBA.
I warned everyone of this several years ago when I posted about the Steelers and other popular teams in the league receiving preferential treatment from the refs, but a few on this board thought my claims to be foolish. Sorry, they weren't.
A lot of football fans out there are claiming that the call on Logan Wilson was a make up call because Tee Higgins raked Jalen Ramsey's face mask before catching the football and scoring a TD for the Bengals. They're all wrong.
Prior to that play, Ramsey had grabbed Higgins shirt (holding in the end zone, ball placed at the one yard line) to pull himself closer to Higgins and knock the ball out of Higgins hands (first video below clearly shows this penalty).
Lastly, Wilson's play vs. Cooper Kupp wasn't a holding. It was what we football people refer to as great defense. On this play, the Rams entire OL, minus their center, false started, but it wasn't called (second video below clearly shows this penalty).
The Rams ended the game having only TWO penalties called against them. What a joke and one of those penalties was only a five yarder for a delay of game at the beginning of the first quarter. Unfortunately, this game was semi-rigged which should have every true football fan up in arms.
