Joe Burrow can't continue taking all these hits. The Bengals MUST get him some protection even if it means packaging up AJ Green and John Ross in a package deal for just one good guard or tackle. Trading away future draft picks should also be on the table along with everything else. Basically, the Bengals need to trade anyone on the roster to bring in some good offensive linemen. Trotting out a generational QB behind a line as atrocious as the Bengals line is stupidity at its finest. By basically ignoring the offensive line during the off-season was shear ignorance and may end up ruining Burrow's career. EVERY SINGLE PLAYER ON THIS ROSTER SHOULD BE ON THE TRADING BLOCK IN ORDER TO UPGRADE THE OFFENSIVE LINE!!! Jessie Bates? Yep. Sam Hubbard? Yes sir. Joe Mixon? Absolutely. I like all these players, but none of them are even remotely close to being as valuable to this teams future success as Burrow. The Bengals need to bring in a minimum of two highly rated offensive linemen now! Coach Jim Turner + Bobby Hart is about as bad as it gets in the NFL, yet these are two of the guys they went forward with when they had many opportunities and tons of money to make a significant change. Throw in two games vs. the Steelers who will absolutely try to permanently injure Burrow even if it means incurring a penalty and a fine, and we have the makings of a disastrous season. The blocking is so bad, the Bengals should consider starting Ryan Finley over Burrow so that Burrow remains healthy until he gets some blocking.

I was just about to post the problems of the Bengals when I saw you had posted what I was going to post. OL problems! Good idea to trade AJ. He seems to have lost a couple of micro seconds and not getting open for those micro seconds. Burrow has been doing a great job for the time he has to throw the ball, but 8 sacks by Philly. Not acceptable. Ravens and Steelers are going to injure him. Burrow has got to be protected.
I watch and record most of each weekend games. I constantly see wide open receivers. I see screens where the back is wide open, no one around him. Not with the Bengals. Burrow has little room for errors and yet he has thrown only 1 interception and it was unusual. To me it is the offense scheme that is not getting these receivers open. Teams are crowding the line knowing that a 4 man rush or Blitz can get to Burrow. When Bernard comes in, Defenses know to watch for the screen. We have a coaching problem.

I knew when we were still starting Bobby Hart we were screwed. But no one's going to give up a great OL start of season. Most we can get is a draft pick. Have to wait till FA.

I hope they can pull off a trade even if they have to overpay. Trading AJ for only a serviceable OL would be a good deal. Joe Burrow's health is far, far more important than what few catches AJ Green has left in the tank. The Bengals may have to ante up and trade one of their younger and more talented players to get a decent linemen.

I like all the free agents the Bengals signed, but adding a quality OT or G was by far the most needed signing. What this team was thinking by ignoring the OL (for the most part) during free agency is beyond me. The team knew they were going to draft Burrow and they've known for years that they have one of the worst lines in the league. Therefore, it makes no sense at all by not bringing in a couple of quality OL. I'm sorry, but to date, this coaching staff looks to be totally incompetent and Taylor looks to be in over his head. As always with this team, we should all hope for the best, but expect the worst.
