I know people keep saying we don't have a line. But they forget Williams will be back at LT. Only position concerns me is RT. I think we will be ok at guard. Burrow may not have the best protection but it will be decent.

Burrow may not have the best protection but it will be decent. The Bengals have a lot of potential and better depth on the OL this year as compared to last year, but this unit needs time to gel and by all accounts, it's still a work in progress. We'll just have to see how things pan out during training camp and games. I wouldn't be surprised if rookie Hakeem Adeniji doesn't see some playing time in certain packages. I agree that getting Jonah Williams back at LT should be a big boost to the lines overall performance. Xavier Su'a-Filo will also improve the OL. But what I'm really excited about is waiver wire pick up Fred Johnson from the Steelers. If Johnson continues to play as well this year as he did at the end of last season, he could very well be the teams answer at RT. College free agents Josh Knipfel and Clay Cordasco should at minimum add competition and depth on the line.

I think both of them have a good shot at winning offensive rookie of the year, but that's not an important concern of mine. What I'm concerned about the most is the play of the dirty, cheating Steelers. I have little doubt that Steeler players have already talked amongst themselves and/or conspired with one another about purposely injuring Burrow ASAP. I'm sure they're salivating at the thought of blowing out his knees or severely injuring him in some way or another. I would be surprised if I were to find out that Mike Tomlin hasn't made any references to his players about 'roughing him (Burrow) up', 'taking him out', with a nod and a wink. The Bengals should contact the commissioner and have him inform the Steelers that low blows on Burrow or any other type of illegal and/or dirty play will not be tolerated and doing such will result in significant punishments. Do I think the Bengals will contact the commissioner? No. The commissioner has made it abundantly clear that he plays favorites when it comes to the Steelers and the Rooney family. Don't forget that the commissioner waived most, if not all the fines that were levied against Steeler coaches and players after the teams 2015 playoff meeting. All fines against the Bengals stood. Talk about a double standard...
