Benching Dalton for Finley is such a Mike Brown money move. Ticket sales and attendance are down. What better way to sell more tickets if you're an 0-8 team than to start a rookie QB? This move is also designed to distract we fans that Mike "The Idiot" Brown didn't trade away one player before the deadline! Not one! If I were GM, Dalton, Eifert, Green, Dunlap, Atkins, Kirkpatrick and Glenn would've all been traded and perhaps more. I think the world of these players, but their window slammed shut two years ago. The Bengals could've owned the upcoming draft and built a great foundation for the next decade.
I would also have Zac Taylor hanging from a short leash. If his poor play calling and non-disciplinary approach to coaching players continues, he would be out after the season.
I can't even begin to express to you guys what an idiot Mike Brown is when it comes to running a football team the correct way... the winning way. Brown is just as stingy and stupid as he ever was if not more so. Trading away the aforementioned players is a no-brainer. None of those players are going to contribute to a Super Bowl run in Cincy because they're just too old. And I don't want to hear anyone express how loyal Brown is. He isn't loyal. If he were, Eric Steinbach, Jonathan Joseph, Andrew Whitworth, Kevin Zeitler and others would've been resigned as Brown promised. They weren't. Brown is loyal to his bank account and that's just about it.
The Bengals could've wound up with 1-2 additional first rounders; 2-3 second rounders; and 1-2 fourth to fifth rounders. Watching Brown ruin his fathers team while taking delight in sticking it in the faces of Bengal fans everywhere shouldn't be allowed in this day and age. It makes the league look like a joke. Where's the Commissioner? Where's the Mayor and other leaders of the city? Who's the person that Mike Brown is accountable too? No one...
I use to defend Brown as a person and almost always expressed that my distaste for him centered solely around how he operated as owner/GM. No more. IMO, Brown is purposely sticking it to Bengal fans, the City of Cincinnati and the NFL and he appears to be enjoying it. The guy is a true leach. An egotistical cockroach that doesn't give a SHIT about anyone other than himself and his bank account. Mike Brown is a true low life in every sense of the word. It's so bad, I'm wondering if he's lost his mind and needs psychiatric help. Seriously, I wonder. No one can be this greedy; this mean; this stingy; or can they?
